We Raised Over $25k to Sponsor 100 WeCare Packages at the Level Up 2025 Sotheby’s International Realty Conference

Pinktober may have come to a close, but the impact we made together continues to shine brightly. This week’s Level Up Conference was the perfect finale — wrapping up the month in a beautiful pink bow of hope, unity, and generosity.

Together, we set out to raise $25,000 to sponsor 100 WeCare Packages, each designed to bring comfort, dignity, and connection to patients undergoing treatment - and we did it! Led by Larry Kendall’s $1,000 check presented on stage, which started a ripple effect of kindness throughout the room, we reached our goal so we can put 100 WeCare Packages into the hands of newly diagnosed patients.

As a 15-year breast cancer survivor, I wake up every day hoping I can make a difference in the life of just one woman - and this week, together, we were able to touch the lives of so many. Throughout the day, countless people came up to our table to share their stories - women currently in treatment, survivors, loved ones, and those who said they were scheduling their mammogram appointments because of our presentation. Others ordered WeCare Packages to send directly to butterflies undergoing treatment, spreading hope even further. It was deeply moving to witness that ripple of compassion and connection - the conversations, the tears, the hugs, and the moments shared at the Honor a Butterfly Wall as people paused to recognize someone they love. It was all so beautiful.

The WeCare Package Program is operated by the Breast Cancer Fundraiser (The BCF), and The Butterfly Strong Foundation proudly helps fund and support it. We work in tandem to deliver hope, strength, and love to patients across the country. I also proudly serve on The BCF Board, and long before we became The Butterfly Strong Foundation, Malibu Dana Activewear was helping fund WeCare Packages - a partnership that began back in 2017 which continues to grow stronger every year.
